Dear Birthmother,
Thank you for considering an adoption plan for your child. We have the utmost respect and admiration for you as you go through this emotional and difficult time. You are on a selfless path that will provide your child with a safe and promising future. We pray that God will provide you with peace and comfort during this season of your life. We are hopeful that this letter will provide you a glimpse into who we are and how we came to be a family.
We met in college during pharmacy school, fell in love, and got married a few weeks after graduation. We have now been married almost 7 years. Kristi is organized and a planner with a heart for serving. Brandon is funny, athletic, and loves martial arts and video games. A few years ago we were devastated to find out that we would not be able to have children biologically. As we grieved the end of this dream, we turned to adoption.
Ironically, adoption was originally our plan for after we had biological children. As you know, God changes our plans to His plans. God’s change in plans led us to one of the most amazing days of our lives as we met our daughter Natalie who we adopted at birth in May 2009. We cannot imagine our lives without this beautiful little girl and are excited about going through the process again. We are extremely thankful for the gift we have been given, and Natalie will always know how special she is to have so many people that love her. We love our daughter with all of our hearts and are quite privileged and blessed to be her parents. Natalie will be a great big sister!

We both work full time as pharmacists, but each only work 4 days a week. We enjoy our time off as a family to play outside, go on day trips, and just hang out together. We live comfortably in a 2500 square foot, 4-bedroom home in a nice subdivision. We have a big backyard with a deck and swing set. Our neighborhood has several community pools and playgrounds. We are active members of a large Baptist church that we love. We have an amazing group of friends that are very supportive of us. Kristi’s family lives nearby and we love spending time with them. We will raise our child to love the Lord and to be involved in furthering His Kingdom. It will be of utmost importance to raise our child in great faith and with Biblical values.
We are looking forward to many family vacations and adventures! As a couple, we have traveled to the Bahamas, Jamaica, Mexico, Honduras, and Disney World. This summer we took our first family vacation to the beach. We had a blast! Traveling is one of our favorite things to do, and we hope that our children will be well-experienced travelers. We are huge sports fans, especially football and the Olympics. We both enjoy reading and Natalie already has a ton of books. We also have a cat, Hermione, who is very gentle with Natalie and other children.
We hope that what we have shared with you about ourselves and the way that we live will help you to consider us for your adoption plan. Know that we care about you, and we are praying for you constantly, even though we have never met. Though we each have different struggles, we know that God has a wonderful plan for us all. May God bless you, guide you, and give you peace during this difficult time.
Sincerely, Brandon and Kristi
