Todd and Holly
Dear Birth Mother,
First, let us introduce ourselves; our names are Todd and Holly. We
want to say that we know this is a very difficult time for you. By
choosing adoption, you are showing strength and courage, but most of
all, love for your baby. We feel that adoption is truly a blessing for
those of us who are unable to have children. We hope that this letter
shows you that we are a loving family that cherishes our time together
and that will bring much love to a child. We pray that this letter will
help make your decision easier and you will make our dreams of adding
to our family a reality. We are so grateful to you for considering us.
We have been married for 14 years. We meet through a mutual friend and
it didn’t take long for us to realize that we were meant to be
together. Our marriage has been a happy one filled with love and
companionship. It is our faith in God and our close bond that has
helped us during our many failed attempts at getting pregnant. We tried
Invitro - Fertilization (IVF) which was also unsuccessful. We realized
that God was leading us to adoption and we were so excited! We adopted
our son, Austin, 7 years ago at birth. This adoption experience was a
very positive one and that is why we are eager to do it again! We are
ready to add to our family and Austin is looking forward to being a big
brother.
We live in a beautiful house in a small southern community. Our home
has four bedrooms and three full baths. We have a large fenced in back
yard with plenty of room to run and play. Our neighborhood is filled
with lots of children to play with. There is even a neighborhood pool
that we enjoy in the summer. We have lots of family nearby that we see
on a regular basis and our family is very supportive of our decision to
adopt.
Our pets include two outside dogs, Sandy (mix bred) and Sydney a Jack
Russell terrier. They are very affectionate and loving. We also have an
aquarium with goldfish.
Todd has been working for the same company for the past 22 years. He
earned a degree in Bachelor Science of Management (BSM) from a four
year Christian college. He is a manager in logistics and operations for
a Fortune 500 company. His goal is to continue his education and attend
Flight Dispatcher School. Todd’s hobbies include working in the yard,
playing golf, shooting basketball, baseball, and going to sporting
events and movies. He is looking forward to being a new father again so
that he can come home to play and laugh with the new baby. Todd loves
being around children because at times he too is a child at heart.
Holly is a stay home mom, who loves being with children. She earned
a degree in Child Development from a four year Christian college.
Before getting married she worked as a preschool teacher for several
years. Holly’s hobbies include photography, gardening, and reading as
well as traveling and swimming. She also enjoys attending sporting
events and going to the movies. Another area in which Holly spends her
time is volunteering and helping at the elementary school.
We enjoy doing things together as a family. This includes swimming at
the pool, trips to the park and riding our bikes. We also love going to
the beach every summer. Our favorite family memories are our trips to
Disney World. We look forward to returning with another addition to our
family.
We are both Christians who attend church regularly. We have strong
moral beliefs and values. Because of our faith, we believe that there
is a reason why God has brought us to adoption. God knows and
understands that there are many children needing a home and that there
are many loving couples such as us seeking to care for them. We believe
He has given you the wisdom and guidance to share your child with
someone like us, a couple which will love your child and someone who
will tell the child of the mother who gave the ultimate gift in the
name of love.
We will be more than willing to send updates and photos of the baby and to answer any questions you might have about us.
