 Even though we have not met, we pray for you every day. Only God knows what you are going through,
and we are asking Him to give you peace and comfort in these trying days. We are praying that He will
guide you as you make decisions about adoption and that He will draw you close to Him in the days to
come.
Dax and I met in college, and we have been married for 12 wonderful years. Dax is a pastor, and I am a
stay-at-home wife and mother. God has blessed us with three beautiful children, who are currently 8,6,
and 2.
We adopted our youngest child and enjoyed every minute of our first adoption journey. We are
so thankful for these gifts from God, and we pray daily for our fourth child. All of our family and friends
are excited about our adopting again, and we all cannot wait to meet the newest member of our family.
Dax loves the Lord, his family, and his church. He always has a ready smile, and his laugh can be heard
a mile away. We live near the church where Dax pastors, which allows Dax to be very involved in our
children''s lives. Dax loves playing sports with our son and reading books with our middle child. Our
youngest child adores her daddy and wants to be wherever he is.
I am so thankful that God allows me to stay home with our children. I love that I do not miss many
moments in their lives. I enjoy listening to our son play the piano, watching our middle child do ballet,
and hearing our two-year-old talk non-stop and sing her heart out. Dax and I pray that our children will
daily learn more about God and about this wonderful world that He has made.
Our children play together very well. They like to ride their bikes, scooters, and riding toys in the church
parking lot, and they have fun on the playground behind the church. Our son is a great big brother, and
he likes to read and play with LEGOs. Our girls love to have tea parties and play dress-up.
We love spending time together as a family. We enjoy going to the lake, the beach, and DisneyWorld.
We like to eat out at restaurants and visit museums. We enjoy going to parks, playgrounds, and sporting
events. Our children love going to their grandparents'' houses and getting to play with their cousins.
 As we wait for God to bring our next child into our lives, we are all looking forward to the day that the
phone will ring and we will hear that we have been chosen to be a child''s forever family. We know that
this will happen in God''s perfect timing, and we are praying for that special birth mom who will look at
our family and know that we are the family for her. What a precious, precious gift that will be!
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways
acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6).
