Erwin Maternity Care Center

I don’t have anywhere to live while I am pregnant. What are my options?

New Beginnings offers birth mothers with an unwanted pregnancy or teen pregnancy who are considering adoption as an abortion alternative the option of staying at a maternity care home where free birth mother care is provided. This spacious (4,000 square feet) maternity care home offers opportunities for privacy, solitude and friendship with other birth mothers who are also choosing adoption as an abortion alternative. The free care home has full-time house parents who will transport you to and from doctor’s visits, provide meals and offer other recreational opportunities as part of the free birth mother care.

Included at the Center are:

  • Private and semi-private rooms available
  • Food
  • Clothing
  • Christian counseling
  • Swimming pool
  • Care and compassion
  • Transportation to church, doctors appointments and recreational activities
  • Internet and other media outlets
  • Reading library
  • Solitude in a private, rural setting
  • Safety

Do I have to live at the Maternity Center to work with New Beginnings?

No, we will work with you and provide as much assistance as possible regardless of where you live. Assistance is available in these cases based on need.
