Dear Birthparent, The core values that we possess and feel are necessary in order to raise a healthy child are Honesty, Integrity, Love, and Respect. We know that you are making a very important decision that will affect the lives of many people. We feel fortunate that you are taking us into consideration and can promise that we will love and cherish your child.
Let us begin by saying that we understand this is a very emotional time for you. We admire you for wanting to provide a safe and secure future for your baby and we would like for you to get to know us.
You and I are in very different circumstances, and yet in some ways, we are in very similar circumstances. We both find ourselves in a situation we wish we could change.
What a journey life truly is! For Jeff and I, that journey has not only been one in the physical sense as we have moved from one continent to another--to yet another--in just five years of marriage, but also a journey of the heart as the idea of adoption went from a light-hearted conversation we once had to a growing passion that we are living out every day as we parent our adopted daughter Grace.

Brandon and I were married in March of '01, and have a fun, love-filled marriage. We are best friends, and enjoy spending all our time together. I never dated anyone but Brandon, and I am glad to say that Brandon is the sweetest guy I've ever known. :)
